Manuscripts Submission Guidelines

1. Originality and Contribution:

Any article submitted to Media and Communication Review (MCR) should be the original unpublished work of the author(s) and exclusive to this journal. Articles should provide a significant contribution to knowledge in the field of media and communication, with emphasis on areas such as Journalism, Broadcasting, Advertising, Public Relations, Book Publishing, Film/Video, Photography, Interpersonal Communication, Cross-cultural/Global Communication, Information Communication Technology (ICT), and emerging media. MCR also addresses contemporary issues and practices related to stakeholders in media and communication professionals, organizations, regulatory institutions, and actors in the public sphere.

2. Types of Manuscripts:

The journal accepts theoretical, empirical, methodological, and/or philosophical manuscripts. Manuscripts addressing conceptual issues, application articles/case studies, book reviews, video/film reviews, and other critical reviews are particularly welcome.

3. Selection and Responsibility:

The editors are responsible for the selection and acceptance of manuscripts.
Authors have the sole responsibility for the statements expressed and accuracy of facts within their manuscripts.
Authors are expected to review and return proofs within specified deadlines.

4. Manuscript Length and Elements:

Manuscripts should ideally range from 5,000 to 6,000 words, excluding tables and exhibits.
All tables should be included at the end of the paper as an appendix.
Authors have flexibility in including various elements such as text, tables, graphics, animation, or audio components to enhance their article.

To submit a paper, log in to your created account, click "VIEW PROFILE," select "Create Article," fill in all necessary information, attach the article, and click "Submit."

6. Blind Peer Review:

To ensure an effective blind peer review process, please exclude any personal identifiable details from the title page of your submission.
Do not include the author's name, address, institutional affiliation, email address, telephone number(s), or any other identifying information on the title page.
